DeKalb Promotional Playing Card Deck

c. 1970s-1980s; DeKalb Agricultural Association - DeKalb, Illinois

Promotional deck of playing cards featuring custom DeKalb advertising backs with the company's iconic winged ear logo. The deck includes standard playing cards along with both jokers and is housed in its original clear plastic storage case. Branded playing cards were popular promotional giveaways distributed by agricultural suppliers, seed dealers, and farm organizations for use at home, in the office, or while traveling.

The deck exhibits moderate wear from use. Several cards show dog-eared corners, light tearing, and scattered surface wear, with noticeable loss to the printed color on some card backs. All playing cards and both jokers are present. The original plastic case exhibits scratches, discoloration, and a crack as shown in the photographs.
