DeKalb Dealer Directional Advertising Sign

c. 1950s-1970s; DeKalb Agricultural Association - DeKalb, IL

Vintage dealer directional sign advertising DeKalb agricultural products. Constructed from a rigid composite panel, the sign features the iconic DeKalb winged-ear-of-corn logo accompanied by the slogan "The World's Best" above a large directional arrow intended to guide customers to a local dealer location. Rendered in DeKalb's recognizable green and white color scheme, the sign would have been displayed along rural roadways, at farm supply businesses, or near agricultural dealerships throughout the Midwest.

Exhibits moderate wear consistent with outdoor advertising use. Surface shows scattered scratches, light staining, edge wear, mounting holes, and age-related discoloration. Graphics remain legible with good color retention. Reverse shows expected weathering and surface wear from long-term use and storage.
